Not driving the 300c for 3-4 months? Good idea? Bad idea?

Im still waiting for my 300C to arrive which will be in Oct and once it does arrive I was thinking about cutting the insurance and not renewing it until next year around Feb or March. One reason is I have a winter car so I dont see any reason why I should pull out the 300c. My question is, if I drive the car for let's say 500 km's and then cut the insurance and keep the car in the garage for 3-4 months will it be ok? What I mean by "will it be ok" is will I run into any problems because I didnt break the car in? I know it sounds like a stupid question but i've heard people say that you should break in the car then cut the insurance so im just wondering if it would really make that big a difference. Most cars on the dealer lots are brand new and on the lot for months so I don't see a big deal.
