I agree that if lots of people had these things, the morning commute could be a bit more messed up than usual.
I'm also a member of a family with physicians, nurses, and a PA....oh and me a veterinarian at a huge practice in Tampa who has done his share of 2am emergency runs in for traumas, etc. Something like this would have been amazing back in my emergengy on call days.
Anyway, it's just a topic for discussion. Still, pretty kewl though eh?

Man you nailed that one. I thought it was just me. Nothing sucks more than waiting at a red light when you have to report STAT to the hospital. My Wife is on ER call 1 in 7. She has at least 1 OD or Stroke a week. There are 5 lights in town she can trigger. But georgia just apporved for jan 1 2006 Physician plates. The governor says they are to assure physicians are not pulled over when responding to an emergency. MIRT is a cool device , however more locations are adding encryption.
