I have 22" wheels on my Suburban and find the ride to be pretty good. There is more rubber between the road and wheel than there would be when using 22s on a C so I expect the ride to be firmer. For the people that have experienced these differences how much of a difference is there with the ride quality after you upgraded? I ran a set of 18" wheels on a '99 Z-28 convertible. They looked great but hitting a pothole was horrible! I cut at least 2 tires in a 6 month period.
