NO, It's not just you.
Back in the day, Conti made a great Motercycle tire.It's claim to fame was that the tire "wore" like iron.Oh sure, There was a noticable lack of traction with them, but what the hell - They wear like iron.Basically, what that means is, we 'll have a tougher time shredding our rubber with these harder composition tires.
Yes I too notice the hard highway sound.Very reminicence of the "old" snow tires.I'll just wear these out this season and replace them in the Spring along with wheel mods.
