ok guys......sorry i forgot i posted in this thread, let alone it ever existed. maybe i should check our regional forum more often.
chasb sent me a PM regarding other guys in NY, and there dosent seem to be many of us. like i told him, i would not mind a commute down to the NYC/metro area to get together with some of you, as i travel down there frequently.
-there was another member on here (NY2PA) who actually went to school in my town (Binghamton) who used to lurk around here (lives somewhere in PA now) but i havent heard from him lately. perhaps i could send him a PM and see if hes interested in a gathering.
-i know a guy in Jersey City (member-Obsessed1) who i bought my 22's from that had a nicely modified silver 300c (chrome 22's, E&G verticle grille, borla w/5" tips, jetchip, tint, shaved trunk) but sold it to a buddy to his. i can also try and send him a PM and see if the friend that bought his car would like to meet up with us, as it was one pretty silver 300.
perhaps we can see if other PA/NJ members would like to be included? of course we would all have to find a common meeting place that makes sense for everyone, as well as an agreed upon date for the meet. i go back to school in 2 weeks (local community college for now), so i think a weekend would make more sense to me.
we might want to try and post on ************ and the LX forums to try and get some more NY area members together for a meet. the more the merrier, you know?
anyways, ive posted on here a while ago about trying to get something going, but there wasnt much response. lets try and get the ball rolling this time folks.
oh, and Mache....i got a couple buddys that go to Oneonta now, and although its an hour away, we do share the same gloomy weather. suprisingly its been hot as all hell around here this summer, which is sort of wierd for a change, but that im sure will soon change. believe it or not, Binghamton is the '2nd gloomiest city' in the nation aside from Seattle Washington.
let me know when you plan to go to Endicott, as its only like 5 min from where i live. i got a blacked out 300C that i bet youd love to see, lol.
also, if you plan on going to any Yankee games in the future, let me know as well, im a die hard yankee fan, and i go down for games quite frequently.
any NY members, or people in the area that would be interested in a meet, please PM me, and i will try and coordinate everything. hopefully this will work out. i dont think we should discriminate against Magnum and Charger owners either!
