Not allowed a courtesy car?

Just took my 300c for the water in the transmission problem, and was told that Chrysler won't pay for a courtesy car because I didn't buy extra warranty called a "service contract".

I figured if I'm leasing this car, and it's stuck in the shop because of Chrysler's fault, they could at least give me a courtesy vehicle. It was a $25 cab ride home.

Has anyone ever heard of this? Specifically in Canada, is this Chrysler's policy? Honda and Toyota have always lent a vehicle for free.
