Over the weekend, I had my brake calipers and "SRT" logo on the rim painted Viper red. I have new Brembo brake decals on order in white. I figure the white decal against the red caliper would look really nice. Attached are a few pics. Hope you like them.
Anyone have a suggestion on doing this? Tried laying my wheels flat & level and dropping paint it, but can't get it done cleanly. Had the caliper paint open and tried that, which may be the problem; tries too quick and is hard to remove if a mistake is made! A decal would be easier, although a good paint job would look better and be more durable.
I did the same wheels for a subtle touch. It was a pain in the ass but came out well. I just layed them down flat, bought a tiny paint brush from a hobby shop and took my time. PS, a lot of coffee does NOT help with a project like this!
