I have been reading on the LX Fourm as well as on here. There seem to be conflicting reports on what gains people are getting from their CAI's. I just recently purchased the Mopar CAI and I feel like their is an improvent in Throttle response, sound. The Mopar site states up to 8 hp increase with their Cold Air Intake, and I definitely feel a diffrence, maybe it is just trying to justify my purchase :-). I had an opportunity to go against another 300C to try to see if their was any difference. So a friend of mine with a stock 300C and mine with the Mopar CAI in 3 runs, I was able to out acclerate him and take the lead each time and all else being about as equal as can be both gas tanks at half AC/Off etc, he was not able to catch me, and I was actually able to pull away from him. So my question is there actual horespower gain or from the improved throttle response am I able to pull away faster now. This is my first CAI so I am open to all suggestions and theories.
