I drove my car at Sears Point (aka Infineon) in Sonoma CA on 9/7/05. Best Day Ever! Pay whatever they charge. Drive it fast and hard. Get lots of gas: I got about 4mpg and went through 2 19 gallon tanks. I ran out of gas twice on the last lap, and coasted into the pits.
Jim Russell Racing School = $495
Two tanks of premium = $140
New left front tire (melted) = $295
The look on other drivers faces when I caught up to, passed, and occassionally lapped. PRICELESS
Drive your own car. Try auto vs manual shifting. Try ESP on vs off. This 4180 lb fire breathing behemoth is PERFECTLY balanced 55/45 front and rear.
I had my best laptimes shifting in automatic, with every ESP, ABS, Torque Management, Yaw Control, DLDRITW (Don't Let Dan Run Into The Wall) system in the full ON mode.
I sucked up so many "Faster", Lighter, smaller cars in one day, on a track, all nice and legal, with 17 other drivers with NICE cars. Mine was the Big, Black, Non- Aerodynamic Behemoth, that drives like a F*#@*ng RACE CAR, with the Kicker Stereo Blasting Ted Nugent and the sun roof open.
Talk about Priceless!
Any chance you get, take her out to the track. JMO
