Had my 300 detailed this morning for the first time
|
Hello Gang,
I had my 300 detailed for the first time today. I had the car washed and hand waxed with 2 coats of wax to get the car ready for the wintertime. I also used Rain-X on all the windows to help out when it rains to improve visibility. I had the local car wash/detail shop do the work, and it looks great! I asked about the claybar, and the detailer that worked on my car said that the paint is still in excellent shape. (No Clay needed at this time) He hand-buffed the car (no machine, just normal elbow grease!) After the winter weather is over, I'll have it done again to get all the winter garbage off the car.
I take the car to a soft cloth car wash and so far I have had no problems with the finish or the work that they do. I usually get the step up from the base wash, which includes the 'spray on' wax and underbody cleaning. The mats get cleaned and shampooed and the tires get the Armor-All treatment. The car still looks like it did when it came off the lot.
