Yep, Jack Cassidy (father of both David and Shaun and former husband of Shirley Jones), who tragically died at the age of 49 during a fire inside his West Hollywood home, and who also starred as 'The Great Santini' (professional magician) on Columbo episode 'Now You See Him' (1976)...sadly, this was one of his last performances.
