We must see build date (mo/year). Without it, for but one example, one can't determine which ESP/ABS system the 06s have - pre-8/06 are two-mode ESP and 8/06 and following are 3-mode ESP systems. They react totally differently. Major differences in terms of our forum are:
1. Reaction to pulling fuse 17. Early cars go ape, late cars lay down.
2. Second-generation GSM mod kits are required for the 3-mode ESP-equipped cars.
Other examples where build date can be important are door trim problems and the right pull issue.
