One thing that is nice here I suppose, is that you can take a class for 40 some bucks and they will wave the points, and you just pay the fine. You are able to do that once in a year, up to 5 times.

I got 2 speeding tickets in one year, paid a laywer 90 bucks and they got the points waved on the second one, I just paid the fine. That was for doing 80 in a 45, in my other vette. Speeding tickets down here are just a revenue booster for the state and counties, and nothing more. After you get some tickets, you learn that its not as cool as you think, and you get used to going the speed limit. This time of year, your lucky if you even get to do the speed limit, as all the blue haired snow birds are here for the season.
