If you use a product of this type, make sure it's Isopropyl (i.e. "Iso-Heet"-comes in a red bottle--or Napa "Thermo-Aid") rather then methyl alcohol (such as regular "Heet" in the yellow bottle). The Isopropyl absorbs water and will not attack O-rings and seals, while the methyl alcohol merely disperses water. Cost is not much more for the good stuff either.
