Some of this info has probably already been covered but here are the answers to questions that I keep seeing -
Part # 3825 will cover the 5.7 and 6.1 motors
There are no solid horsepower and torque figures yet. Superchips will do all of their testing to make sure the tuning and driveability is correct. Then, in the end they will strap the car to a dyno and check out the numbers. I've been telling customers to expect 15-20 but I was just told that could go up to about 25. It's always safer to plan low and see high
Torque management is greatly decreased. No firm % yet.
ESP is greatly decreased. No firm %
Rev limiter can be increased
Now, for long tube headers. This question has recently come up. Superchips said there is no problem using this tuner with shorty headers but it's best to watch things if you are running long tubes. That style of headers does a very good job of scavenging the cylinders so this can lean out the motor. This combined with the tuning might made it to lean. If your running long tubes it will be best to install the tuning, take a run or two and then pull a plug to see how it looks. My car is a 300C SRT-8. I'm running Kooks long tubes so I'll be doing this when I install the tune into my car.
