it was 35.5 miles to our fine UK Imperial gallon (4.545 lts or 8 pints in old money).
& of course the bacon and egg buttie was for Arnie as Mrs Cat would be most verily dead unchuffed if she found out that it was for me.

p.s. the evic MPG said 31.8 which I suspect is in tiddly US gallons, which would convert into about 38 of our rufty tufty butch UK mpg. The 35.5 is from full tank click off to full tank click off divided by miles done. I suspect the true MPG is somewhere between 35.5 & 38 (probably closer to 35.5 than 38).
