Now I am sending a new thread to the Texas Forum because I see over 400 of you viewed the original thread, but didn't say hello or what part of town you live in,etc. I know some of the viewing traffic was picked up from other forum members (not from Houston) reading the post when it was a new thread.
Bo'sRT, on 300 forums and from Houston, was in the Impala club with me and it was alot of fun. We were talking about it the other night. How fun the people were, laughing, racing, modding, having our own club shirts, logo for the car, etc. When we had a monthly meetings, we would have over 50 Impala's in a restaurant parking lot, while we ate and had our meeting. It made it hard for other patrons to get in to eat, but they did get a mini car show on there way inside, for free, lol. We would leave our hoods up, cars on display, etc. Someone in the club was always on Impala security duty, while meeting was in progress. We also met at Vendors locations, Chevy dealerships, etc. for other monthly meets. We also raised money for charity with car washes with our favorite sponsors, Hooter's and the Hooter's girls all pitching in to wash our rides and the other cars pulling up for a car wash/donation. You could imagine the lines we would get for washes, and it wasn't for the Impala's either, lol. Although when over 100 cars, of the same make and model, are all parked in a row it makes a pretty impresive statement itself.
I would like try to get the Houston 300 owners together and talk shop, the 300, mods, monthly meetings, car shows, Houston raceway park, charity events, etc.
We need to start organizing the Houston 300's. SoCal and Miami 300 areas are gaining speed, monthly meets, car shows, drag strips, etc.
We had so much fun with the over 100 members of HAIL (Houston Area Impala Lovers) 94-96 only. That was only three years of production. This 300 should see a good long run of production. It is more fun to meet up with others that share your passion that to do the mods alone, e-mailing others too far too meet, etc. One thing that was great about the HAIL club is we used to do group install mods, on a weekend. Everyone showed up, food, drinks, etc.,cranked up some tunes and would pull one Impala up at a time and complete the mod as a group. By the end of the day, we were all greasy, the cars were done, we saved a bunch of $ on installation costs, etc. One mod weekend consisted of nothing more than a brake bleed, pad upgrade and installing firmer body bushings from chevy trucks. Our guys found every part in the world to help with our Impalas. We also made some great friends along the way. I still socialize and am good friends with other members from HAIL and most of us don't even have our Impala's anymore.
Let me know your thoughts, if interested, etc.
Pass this message on to other Houston area 300 owners you may know, but are not on the 300 C Forums, but should be.

I live up in the Cypress area. Busy schedule but it would be good to get together and share stories. I have met Bo at Hennessy's place.
