I looked at that to and had the lower plate and metal out to look at it and it still was present. I thought of something last night I'm going to try. Since the main spring is coiled and mounted like a mousetrap setup I going to wrap a wiretye through the center and around. Holding the coil tight should stop the vibration resonation. I'll let you know the results
