The front nav screen, in its stock configuration, allows you to choose the VES (Vehicle entertainment system, aka Rear DVD) as one of the choices as an input to listen from the factory audio system. In other words, available inputs up front are: AM, FM, Sirius, CD (or MP3), VES.
Also it is possible to run the signal from the rear DVD to the front Nav screen and watch movies up front (I Do!) The FFWD & RWND buttons on my front Nav unit actually work for scene selecting on the rear DVD unit!

Hi Danrealtor, is the ability to feed from the rear to the front standard or did this require some rework? These will be dealer fit items, not factory, and everything we have at present tells us that the front screen won't accept an aux feed. If you can cast light on this you may just become a hero to all!
