As of today, I have 2,511 miles on my SRT8. I am experiencing exactly the same rotor scoring and heavy brake dust as everyone else on the forum. I'm in the brake business, and I've never seen so much dust and such an aggressive attack on the rotors by any street pad before.

My solution is probably not the ideal solution for most of you. I'm removing my Brembo calipers and rotors and replacing them with much larger brakes from StopTech with 6-piston calipers and Hawk Performance Ceramic pads. With those brakes and pads, my dust problems should go away almost completely.

According to the Hawk National Sales Manager, the Performance Ceramic pads will become available for the SRT8 sometime late this summer. If you're not up for dropping $5795 on a 4-wheel big brake upgrade to solve this problem now, you might just want to wait for these new pads.
