Our EVIC's are specced like yours, Metric & US, but we can get them "flashed" at the dealers to start giving miles per imp gallon, etc.

Perhaps your dealer could do the same for you ? it only took a couple of minutes and made me a happy camper.

That's interesting. Canada switched to the metric system from the Imperial system many years ago. We too have the choice of metric or "US" as you call it. Now I'm wondering if it's US or Imperial gallons it would display for Canadian cars. In my truck if I want to check my fuel economy in the computer, it defaults to xx liters/100km. I find it easier to understand if I convert it to MPG so I just press the button. If it is in fact US gallons, it would throw the whole thing off as the US gallon is smaller. Now I got myself confused trying to explain this.
