Wheel hazing? Rough surfacing?

Question-

I keep my wheels is pristine shape, never a day or two go by w/out the dust removed. Last night however, I noticed the rear wheels have lost that smooth as glass feel, and they seem to be hazed a bit as well, amost as if exposed to the elements for some time. But they have not.

The car is garaged and rarely driven - I clean softly with soapy microfiber cloths, I know I have not been abbrasive on the clear.

Has anyone experience this?

Thanks in advance-
