Wow, what a terrible thing to happen! I am glad you had a good outcome to the whole incident but that still doesn’t excuse the stupidity and ignorance of the cable guys. Like you, I would have been seething, trying to maintain control of my feelings. Glad to hear you also had a good repair experience with your dealership.

Your story reminds me of the yearly battle I have to face with my power company that hires out sub contractors to yearly trim branches away from poles and lines. You won’t believe the damage they have done to my driveway with their huge lift trucks. The stupidity is the fact I don’t need them doing the work because I always pay to have a professional arborist do the work long before they ever show up. Last time, it cost them over $5,000.00 in repairs.
