With only a 100 dealers in the UK, that gives them on average 2 cars a month to sell - long may it continue !
In 3700 miles of motoring so far, I am yet to see another on the road.

I believe the total released to dealerships will be around 1700 all told. This is from memory and i would have to confirm the figure but I'm fairly sure it's correct.
DC themselves will use up a number of cars for demo's, coporate cars, national contracts and so on. I doubt that number uses up 800 odd cars however so i'll check my figures at the office and confirm later.
We were given 9 units for 2006 and have 1 left due to a cancelled order. Petrols are still available at some dealerships but the good old CRD is fast becoming as scarce as English grand slams!
To illustrate a point we operate 3 CJ sites and were unable to source a CRD for our chairmans personal vehicle! It would seem the market ain't even damp!
