Hi Belmont
at the risk of sounding like an advert for DC, I got both my finance and insurance from DC because for ME they offered a bloody good deal.
My circumstances are different to Geordies in that I needed cover for company use and this usually sets premiums heading upwards, but in my case it was very reasonable. For a 38 year ols with full NCB (protected) fully comp for company use with Mrs Cat on as well it came in at £511 which was pretty damn competitive ( for me) before they pitched in with £65 wine vouchers & a 10% discount for myself & Mrs Cat because we both have Chrysler cars, plus the level of cover was very generous. Very satisfied.
The finance was very competitive as well. I'm ver old school and I prefer straight up HP rather than contract hire/PCP/leasing etc and again DC did the biz. I buy my cars as company cars and the company pays the bills, but I have them registered and insured in my name. Not all finance houses will accept this, but once again no problem with DC.
