You still will get what I will call "overspray" - the water the flashes out of the wheel well as you race down the road and the centrifugal force throws the excess residual water throughout the well. However, the flaps will stop A LOT of direct water and debris lifted and thrown up by the wheel toward the bottom of the car as the rubber comes off the road surface. So a once/week wash is still recommended... at least by me... more frequent if conditions warrant. |
