7. What else am I missing?????

THANK YOU FOR AS MANY COMMENTS AS POSSIBLE!

Hi C5HEA

ok from the top
1) Automatic start - Belmont knew of someone who supplied it aftermarket, AFAIK, DC UK don't do it as an option yet. Arnie starts putting heat into the cabin after about 2 miles (special setup that stops blowing cold air into cabin on cold mornings). The seat heaters are VERY, VERY good.

2) 22" chrome wheels - not my thing. I think that Bentley Black has got some, he mat be able to help.

3)Privacy Glass - looks great on a Black Car. Make sure that your tinter uses ceramic based tint - regular tint buggers up the MW / LW reception on the radio. A quick word of warning though. The 300C is a big beast to move in a small space (car park etc). Very dark tints won't help you at all !

4) IPOD adapter. AFAIK not available yet in the UK. Mabye ask your dealer for the latest news/progress.

5) DVD / SAT NAV - sorry, can't help

6) Secret EVIC Code for extra 25 bhp - not telling.

7) Buy a good car washing kit. With a black car it's going to get a LOT of use.
If you haven't considered Autoglyming / Supagard / Lifeshining / Diamond Briting your car, think about it. A lot of people say it is an expensive ripoff by the dealer and is well over priced. I consider it money well spent when every time i wash my car it comes up so well (which is often)
Mudflaps - look very unobtrusive on a Black car and stop your car cleaning efforts going to waste within 2 miles of setting off again.
Numberplate mount - I MUCH prefer the Mourphy The Cat patented method of numberplate mounting. If your dealer insists on screwing the numberplate to the bumper, make sure that you get the mount from him so that you can try the MTC method at a later time - then you can decide which one you prefer.
Running in - I'm a big fan of running in, and I'd say give it a go. Others on the forum thrash the cars straight from the box - it's horses for courses.
Arnie has looseend up a lot in 4000 miles.
EVIC, make sure that it is the current version - version 4.08. If it is not 4.08 you will not get a true MPG reading as it is set in US gals. Also my 25BHP upgrade does not work unless the EVIC is version 4.08.
From the word go set all the EVIC personal settings to where you want them.
As standard the reverse parking sensors are set to OFF. you could be mightily pissed off waiting for a beep that's not going to come.
calibrate the reverse parking sensors. Slowly back towards a wall and gauge what the lights / tome means in term of distance. Arnies sensors are a lot closer in responding than my previous cars.
Set both ignition keys to cerrespond with the seat/mirror/radio memory settings - it saves you and the boss falling out with each other over who has moved the mirrors.
& finally, enjoy the attention from other motorists & pedestrians.

I'm sure that there's more, but hows that for starters.
