Throttle body cleaning...

So at 43k I decided to clean my throttle body for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised to see it wasn't very bad. Does this differ much from one car to the next? Just curious because some of the photos I've seen look like an oil tanker crashed in there!!! Possible PCV malfunction?

Mine was much worse until I installed a catch can on it.

That's why I found this surprising, I've seen some pretty nasty pics around here! I still plan on buying a catch can while my car lays dormant through these winter months.

Are you kidding me?!?!? That's EXTREMELY clean. Are you sure it hasn't been cleaned before?

And yeah, I'm one of the guys with an oil tanker crash. I guess I am runnin' it hard enough!!! Here's an old pic from my very first cleaning at around 50K miles...

That's one of the pics I was mentioning! I bought the car from a Cadillac dealership with 30k on it, I guess it's possible that it was done. Should I replace the PCV?
OH! And as far as running her harder. The TWO sets of GS-A's I've been through in less than 13k were wishing I would take it easy!!! lol... Time to move to 255-F, and 275 in the rear.

Hands down, the most enjoyable car I've ever had! Especially when it comes to picking on my brothers C4 Vette you can see in the reflection!!!
Sorry, I wandered off topic.

No problem man, I can handle a zinger here and there!
The C4 is always sniffing my exhaust. He's had a LOT of cars, but this is his first stick. And its lite and powerful. The cars are pretty close on paper. Once he figures out how to launch it I may be in trouble! Bastard's got 315s in back!!!
