I have had AIG for several years and always shop around at renewal time. They still have the lowest rate. The only claim I had was for a cracked windshield and everything was done by phone. I once had Progressive and they were also reasonable but I discovered AIG was cheaper. I bought Progressive via internet which is about $200 cheaper than dealing with a local agent. Once you deal with a local agent, your name gets on their list and you may not be able to buy via internet. Also found that insurance is not especially high for the C compared to previous cars.
