Maybe here in Seattle as they have not been readily available for quite some time, but it seems like the masses of 300 owners dont know what the SRT8 is or it's capabilities. I an not knocking them at all, they think it is a Touring model and that they would eat it for lunch with the 5.7 hemi. Both times after I pulled ahead and stopped the looked and asked what is that. The SRT8 does not have any Hemi badging anywhere on the body and people look for that, so even in the 300 community it is a sleeper.

I've only seen two SRT8s in the Seattle; both black and on the Eastside. I'll be lookin' for your Silver one as I've yet to see either a Silver color SRT8s in this area.
The converse is true too. Many people are probably happy w/their 300base/Tourinig/Limited as they've spent a lot less money on their car, yet very few people can tell it's not the more $pendy 300c/SRT8.
W/the car smoothed out (no side mouldings), polished dubs, tint, and dropped stance, it's not much of a sleeper as in terms of looking stock. It is as far as HP is concerned, but then again, 95% of the folks out there couldn't tell an M5 between a 530i, or an E55 from an E320. For that matter, a Z06 between a C6.
