I hope that you can help me as I've got Blue Horizon by Wilbur Smith on 26 cd's just waiting to be worked on.

p.s. Xenon Dave, my audio handbook says that my single CD player DOES play MP3 discs, but that they have to be set up in a particular way. I've got the instructions in front of me, and to me it sounds quite complicated, but to a regular MP3 user it will be a piece of p*ss.
Hi Murphy,

I am now sitting here with the audio manual! The RAR 6-Disc security radio on page 7 does seem to play MP3 discs and the details of acceptable files are given as you say on page 12.
However the standard radio-Cd player is the one on page 18 (REG-LW/MW/FM/CD Security Radio). Even though it looks almost identical to the one on page 7, this one does not seem to play MP3 discs...damn.
I bet if they put just £2 worth of extra computer chips into it it would do so. No, they want you to fork out £400 for the option.
I could buy an MP3 portable CD player for about £25 or an iPOD and one of those radio links for another £20 I suppose, keep it in the arm rest and just tune the radio into it.
Thanks for trying anyway!
