not to beat a dead horse, but kev55/northern rider/jhelmuth could you chime in here for me:
I am thinking of getting the TIS07's for my 300C, but you're saying this is a bad idea? Granted the TIS07's will weigh more, and will be wider, so the mechanics are completely different, is this honestly too much for the C?
I understand what you're saying, but i see so many of these cars with 22's on them, but again, that isnt enough assurance for me to go buy them.
I know that the stock wheel/tire combo weighs 55/56 lbs, and im not sure how much heavier the TIS07's would be, since i cant seem to find the weight for them.
I drive the car daily, mostly highways on good roads. Sometimes i drive aggressively, and take corners fast, but for the most part im usually coasting around 75-80 to and from work.
Could you elaborate on why the bearings would need to be serviced more with a bigger rim? I must admit, I don't know much about the mechanical aspects of this.
The reason I want 22's is I just love the look of them, simple as that, but I don't want to destory my car in the process!
I appreciate all the input!
thanks!
