That is the main and only reason for 22"s. Just like what damigguds says above also. Plus you will not be destroying your car just 'maybe' wearing it out a little quicker and stopping a little longer. Hell, you take less precautions with what you eat - because we all really know that Meat and Junk food slowly kills us and limits our days but we keep on eating the stuff don't we. It is our passion.
Just like buying a Convertible - you know that you will be history in a rollover because your neck can't support 3000 pounds - but you sure look good driving it with the top down.
Just go with your passion and accept all the consequence associated with it. If anything goes wrong you are already aware.
