My invitation arrived today. Like you I will take the opportunity to have fun with the demonstrator but there is no way I could justify the cost of actually running one, even if it is good value to buy. Do you think they will actually sell many? Filling the tank would be too painful an experience. Maybe they should do an LPG SRT8!!
For US readers this is low pressure gas. Diesels used to be more expensive here than equivalent petrol models (not the case with the 300C though). As an alternative, it is/was quite popular around here to convert big V8 Jeep Grand Cherokees and Range Rovers to LPG as they are really cheap to buy second hand (nobody can afford to run them on gasoline). The conversions are around $2500. The only reason I can reasonably drive a car as physically big and heavy as the 300C now is the fact that it is the diesel.
