It wasn't an economy run - it was a motorway trip keeping up with traffic at a steady / continuous 72-76 mph.

If I hadn't been snarled up in the remnents of an accident for an hour/10 miles it would have passed 42 MPG.

It silent, roomy, luxury - I love it.

MTC
42 mpg is v. impressive MTC - in fact it's amazing given that Chrysler quote 42 for highway driving, and that manufacturer's mpg figures are invariably v. optimistic, and usually only achievable by doing a steady 55mph. Took my crd touring on the motorway for the first time yesterday afternoon: just junction 1-5 of the M1 and back again for no good reason other than I've been stuck with town driving eversince I picked her up last Monday. Got 32mpg travelling at the speed limit (okay, maybe a bit higher!). Quite pleased with that, given I've only done 240 miles and the engine's still 'tight'....best. John W.
