Hi all, Just got back from the 8 hour ride from Montreal, first thing was to wash off all the bugs from the car, then sit behind the keyboard and let you know how it was IMO, First Carsten (Netsrac) did a outstanding job in his work leading up to this event, a lot of work goes into a great Meet such as this. Second for about 14 days it has rained in Montreal and on Friday, the day I traveled to Canada it rained like no tomorrow for the whole 8 hour trip but on Sat, the first day of the meet the sun came out and was wonderful weather! There was a very nice turnout with lots traveling great distances and all were very happy to attend. Carsten had spent a lot of time and money on the arrangements, such as 2 tents, great BBQ, gifts and prizes, also enough seating and he did a great job D.J.'ing. My wife and I meet some of the nicest people and will hopefully keep these friendships alive. After the meet there was a nice dinner at a great Rib Joint and Nite Club after that. Some of us old folks turned in after dinner because it was rise and shine at a 8:30 am trip to the drag strip. I will never forget the 10 Magnums and me in my 300C cruising through Montreal like the Hells Angels with cars that would pull over like we were the Kings of the road! O.K. that's it for now soon I will post my pics and hope others will post theirs and maybe the video of our rally through Montreal will appear!
