The software allows you to build fuel maps for the 2 extra injectors and a timing map as well that is based on rpm and boost (2D map). The stock ECU's fuel map is untouched.
It also modifies the MAP sensor voltage. To adjust timing, I think it adjusts the crankshaft position sensor signal. And maybe one other signal too.
As for how good it is, I'd say not very. Two people have had theirs die and the software is a pain to use. They pot the guts of it to keep the water out (good) but they don't pot the back side of the boards (bad). It didn't look like it was conformal coated either. Hard to tell though.
Splitsec makes it. It's called a FTC1 though it might be a customized one.
