Due to info I gleaned from this forum and LXforums, I also asked them to take a look at the corrosion and pitting of the rims (not the chrome cladding) and said that I thought this was something that called for replacement under warranty. I also asked them to ensure the car's software was flashed to the latest versions available for an '05 model.

When the wife came home, the service copy said the PCM and TCM has been flashed (took an hour?); that pitting was noted on all four wheels, but there was no other indication of what they planned to do (if anything); and there was just a check mark by the "Check rear numper." Wife said that they told her they couldn't do the bumper 'cause they didn't have a/the parts on hand. She said they were going to call back when the parts were in. She couldn't remember what they said about the wheels. I checked the EVIC, but it continued to show an earlier build date (Feb. 04 and v.3.54). MagnumFreak told me the latest for an '05 should be4 v.3.61.

So today I called and spoke with the service guy. He said that the bumper parts were on order, and that they had ordered new rims to replace the corroded ones. I was very pleased to hear this. I also told him that the rear bumper on the Heritage Edition is showing signs of sagging on the driver's side at least, and they should ensure they have enough parts to fix that one as well 'cause it will be in as soon as the '05 is done. He said "No problem. I then explained that I wanted the EVIC updated as well, but that had not happened. He said they will take care of that when the other parts get here.

So... Kincheloe Motors of Parkersburg, WV is holding up to their 5 star rating as far as this two "C" family is concerned.
How were they going to take care of the sagging problem. My bumper is slightly sagging on the drivers side. I took the car in for some other service stuff and asked them to look at the bumper. The service department told me that all of the cars on the lot had the same slight sag and there was nothing they could do about it. He told me that's just the way it is.

Thanks,
Eric
