Does no one worry about losing their cars?

I search here and find very little information on car alarms .... alot of BS about remote starting ... but nothing that would lead someone to believe that putting a car alarm in a 300 is important ...

So i ask ... is it not worth it? seems to me dropping $30k + for a car it would be more important then buying rims / tires ....

So are any of you running an alarm you would recommend? I could careless about remote start and a boatload more interested in security ...

Anyone have thoughts or suggestions for an actual alarm? I do not want to pay for any GPS alarm ... just want a good normal alarm for the car.
