Actually the Video from the ipod IS visible on the NAV unit using the Nav2Go- however, you don't have the menuing system from the IPOD visible on the NAV.. The audio portion will need one or other of those direct connect mods that seem to be peeping their heads over the horizon..If you wanted video menuing visible in addition, you might need the functionality of something like the DLO home dock deluxe which enables you to use the ipod menuing on the video device you have it plugged into...all of whch is getting way too complex for me- if I can get just the sound and the video output of the ipod onto my NAV system I'd be happy- so far, I have video aspect of these two "desirables" using the nav2go.
