don't do this

wow didn't see this coming!!!
last week i put on my new DUB grille, and i must say i am very impressed. while i was doing the mod i decided to remove my air silencer as well for kicks, as i was doing this i thought that if i removed the black inserts from my fog light areas that extra air would flow in and help my intake...

today on my ride to work i crossed the dames point bridge going my usual 100+ mph (i like to get to work fast) this must have happened

i know its kinda hard to see but what happened was all the air flowing through the fog light vents pushed the wheel well against my tire and burned a huge hole into it!!! or at least this is my theory...
anyone have any ideas on this or experiaced this also... or how do i go about fixing this?
