Are you talking about the cover that's removed for oil changes or the one forward of that with the brake cooling vents that's the width of the car? If it's the later, I just picked up a new one yesterday for $196 CDN (taxes in). The 2 holes to the rear of it had elongated causing the bolts that hold it in place to slip through the holes. It was pointed out to me during my last oil change. They suggested using large washers, but I wanted it perfect and got them to order me a new one. The ONLY thing that could have caused this is when I ran over a large dead flat animal on my trip to California...haha. It's amazing how truly flat and smooth the car is underneath.
