5.7 lump is as bullet proof as the 6.1. I acquired my touring in 2010 (same time when I saw your 6.1 for sale on autotrader), when the mileage was around 34K and its now just passed a tad over 70K and still going strong. There are lots of stuff in relation to dropped valve seats as you mention but the info across all forums seems to relate to non euro spec models. Also as you know I converted it to run on LPG which burns dry and at much higher temperatures than petrol, so if there were weaknesses with the valve seats, it should have happened a long while ago.
I haven't experienced any misfiring but its usually a coil pack or the lead.
Are you able to use Autel to pin point the faulty coil pack, hopefully its just the one that needs changing?
