The other same thing you might also want to check is to unplug the electrical socket at one of the injectors to see if Autel had picked up a code. Its unusual for injectors to fail though but just to see if Autel had picked up the code. The petrol smell might mean the injectors are delivering the fuel which hasn't been ignited and just collecting, due to misfiring.

To gain access to these bits the turtle shell or engine cover needs to be lifted up, which is easy to do.
