I had the cover off to check plug wires etc, couldn't find anything obvious, without a code to point to a particular cylinder i had nowhere to start.

It never ocured to me to cause a fault to check out the Autel.

I did wonder if the fuel smell was due to a dodgy injector and that could also be causing the miss

I also wondered whether the stutter was the torque converter clutch not locking up properly, that was my main reason for stalling on pulling the trigger

I didn't get the opportunity to go faster and see what happened if it drove through the stutter, I should mention that the stutter occured as the box appeared to change up a gear so it may be box or t/c.

just remembered the Autel did show a couple of faulty wheel speed sensors, the ABS light was on but no EML

trans fluid was clean as new no smells, It is not the NAG 1 box it is the Chrysler/jeep hemi box and changes were smooth until the stutter.

Anyone got any ideas? I do remember reading a post a while back about t/c vibration or something similar.
