Thumbs up What a great forum! (Keep in mind I understand that nicotine is addictive)

Hey thanks for all the advice folks! I've taken it upon myself to chill on the drinking thing and just drink a bit on the weekends. It may be beer, wine, or some spirits. Of course wine is the best for you, but I'm big Dos Equis beer fan.

I hope some of ya'll didn't get the wrong impression of me in thinking I'm a "wino" or something. I wanted to bring out the problems people are having with alcohol, even if they drink once a week. For example somebody who smokes a few cigarettes or cigars on the weekends might get put down by someone who is a casual drinker that has a few drinks on the weekends and what the casual drinker is doing is just as bad too.

Medical doctors recommend people to drink a glass a wine once to a few times a week. Beer and spirits are just plain bad. I feel that if they outlaw cigarettes, it would only be fair to outlaw alcohol. More people drink versus people that smoke tobacco, that's a fact. To end all of this I can say that I don't think they should outlaw any of this stuff, its up to people to control themselves, but I will say that lately tobacco has been getting more bad press then alcohol, and alcohol can be just as deadly when abused, even worse then tobacco. I'm just curious how the alcohol companies are dodging all this action?
