We got one of the new radios in, on an 07 Wrangler, it has the same buttons that were on the mirror except now they are on the radio even if the vehicle is not equipped with U-connect. I would imagine you still push the button to start it, but it will follow voice commands once that is done just like the older version. The big difference for voice commands on the new radios will be with the navigation unit.
