NOW WAIT!
I'm not talking about added HP or Torque. I don't know, nor even care if it's there. But one thing it adds for certain is initial throttle response. It's snappier off the line and during downshifts. That level of performance cannot be overlooked. Especially if you notice what heat soak does to throtte reponse.
Oh...And it just sounds reeeeeeeeeeeeeally bitchin'

You're both right, and I have them both.
I started with the Mopar CAI, and it was everything that Triple V says-just so cool sounding-mostly inside the cabin-when you get all over the throttle. Then I added the Corsas, and like Ab says, to advertise on the outside when I want to, quiet when cruising but they shout it out when you get on the throttle. Well in fact, they pretty much drowned out the CAI. I also found in the 8 that they rumbled at 30-45mph a little loud-deep for my blown out ears ( too much bass playing in my yout'-you guys with tinitus know what I mean). So I loaded up the trunk and rear floor under seat with soundproofing (eDead). What that did was reduce the rumble when cruising at lower speeds by about half ( but still evident if I want to listen), improved the volume and quality of the subwoofer and best of all, balanced out the sound between the CAI and the Corsa at hard throttle or WOT. So it's pretty much Hemi surround sound now! Just awesome. And I always leave the door open when I start the car-just love what it sounds like when it lights up.
Oh, and I don't get much road noise from the rear tires anymore so I can drop a rear seat and let that subwoofer do what it does best. (still a bass junkie after all these years).
VVV-Get the Corsa!
Ab-Get the Mopar CAI!
Me, I'm thinking Hi-Flow cats now...
