300c wheel corrosion issues

Well, my wheels are showing signs of corrosion. My local dealer has been rather cooperative and tried to have them refinished. However, the refinishers said that they could not do this on my wheels. Thus, I'm going to end up getting all new wheels. However, my question is what is the chance that the corrosion will start up again? I'm going to be really annoyed if it does start up again. Can some people with stock replacements please report in.

I also thought about trying to talk the dealer into giving me Magnum R/T: 18-inch polished aluminum wheels instead since they shouldn't corrode b/c they aren't chrome plated. Does anyone know if they will work fine on a 300c. Plus, are there any weight differences or other things to take into account.

I originally thought about trying to talk the dealer into SRT rims, but I don't think that that will fly even if I offer to pay extra b/c the dealer probably will not want to deal with the brake and weight difference issues.
