For me, the 91 octane tune is CHEAPER to run than the 87. The price difference between the grades has to be some 35cents or more before 87 beats 91.

But by that notion... isn't putting 92 or 93 octane in the 91 tune "throwing money" away as well?

We don't have 91 octane in our Shell stations here... only 87, 89, and 93...
